 .
It is, with the deepest regret, that we inform you of Butter Bean's passage into The Great Beyond. She experienced not one, but six Grand Mal seizures in less than an hour which left her blind and essentially brain dead.
Bill and I held that majestic head as the vet stopped her heart. To those of you who brought her cookies and love, we thank you for your support. She was one of a kind in every way, and we are left behind with broken hearts.      Bill and Megan

History

Picture
This small stamp & coin business was first established in a storefront located one shop south of Ocean Avenue on Dolores in Carmel-by-the-Sea during 1942 by Leland Stallings and operated as Stallings Stamp and Coin Shop.

In August of 1961, Stallings sold the business in its entirety to Glenn Terry.  In 1982  his daughter, Megan Terry, purchased the store, and in 1985 she moved it three blocks to its current location in the Heather Glen Court on Mission near 8th.
